Dominique Vanherck

A member of Deloitte Legal's Public law, regulatory & permits team, Dominique is a sustainability expert with a particular focus on the energy sector. She advises clients on all climate and energy law related matters including subsidies, permits, concessions and contracts. Furthermore, she has extensive experience with large infrastructure projects, and in that respect advises public and private sector clients on construction law, PPP, DBFM(O) contracts, EPC contracts and public procurement.

As an affiliate researcher at the KU Leuven’s Institute for Environmental and Energy Law, Dominique writes several scientific contributions per year. In addition, she regularly speaks at energy law conferences. Dominique is also a member of the editorial board of the Environmental and Energy Law Journal.

Dominique was recognized as a Rising Star by Legal500 in 2022.
