Deloitte Legal assists with the sale of Balak Industries NV to Buysse and Partners 

Deloitte Legal is proud to have assisted the sellers and the management team with the sale of Balak Industries NV and its subsidiaries Balak Coatings NV, Balak Fences NV and V.B. Logistics NV to investor Buysse & Partners.

Balak is one of the largest European players in fencing panels, headquartered in Pelt (Belgium), active in the production and sale of metal panel fences. Balak produces 50,000 tons of panels annually, out of a total European production capacity of 130,000 tons. Balak today employs 50 employees and generated a turnover of 50 million euros and a gross operating profit (EBITDA) of more than 20%.

Buysse & Partners, the company’s management team and the Sellers will cooperate to continue to support Balak in maintaining its position and support the company’s future growth.

The Deloitte Legal team comprised David Roelens, Hans Vansweevelt and Elena Vromans. The transaction’s sales process was led by the Deloitte Corporate Finance Advisory team comprised of Serge Prosman, Karel Pinxten, Daan Pelgrims and Benjamin Hillen.
