Deloitte Legal is delighted to announce that Els Van Poucke will be joining the Commercial law practice, led by Jürgen Egger, as a partner

Els Van Poucke is a highly skilled lawyer with extensive international expertise in contract negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, national and international, litigation, arbitration and mediation. After having worked for several years in highly reputed Belgian law firms, Els ventured to Singapore starting a career as an attorney in an international law firm gaining extensive international expertise.

During her stay in Singapore, Els was president of the Belgian Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and secretary general of the European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

Els’ expertise perfectly complements Deloitte Legal's Commercial teams know-how in a myriad of industries, ranging from manufacturing, retail and logistics to chemical, automotive, construction, healthcare and TMT. For many engagements, our lawyers have successfully teamed up with professionals from other disciplines.

Els joins us with a team of two collaborators.

She earned a Master in Law, a certificate in Transport law and Transport Insurance, as well as the Fellowship of the Singapore Institute of arbitration.
