Deloitte Legal welcomes five new directors

Members of Deloitte Legal’s Corporate and M&A team Astrid Delanghe and Bram Joye are corporate lawyers who joined Deloitte Legal in 2011.

Astrid is specialized in advising listed entities in areas such as public/private placement, market abuse and transparency, as well as (real estate) funds (such as AIFs).

Bram Joye is specialized in corporate law and advises both individual persons as well as companies on incorporations, mergers, acquisitions (share and asset deals), de-mergers and reorganizations. Bram is also voluntary assistant of Ghent University and member of the Financial Law Institute. Astrid and Bram are both members of the Ghent Bar.

Dominique Vanherck is a member of Deloitte Legal's Public law, regulatory & permits team and leads the Climate & Energy practice. She advises clients on climate and energy law related matters including permits, subsidies and contracts for the development of renewable energy projects.

In addition, she has extensive experience with large infrastructure projects. Dominique is also an affiliate researcher at the KU Leuven’s Institute for Environmental and Energy Law and a member of the editorial board of Die Keure’s Tijdschrift Milieu- en Energierecht. Dominique is a member of the Brussels Bar.

A member of Deloitte Legal’s Employment, Pensions and Benefits team, Thomas De Donder advises and assists clients from both the private and public sector on general employment law issues, with a focus on restructuring services in case of a transfer of business, mass redundancy and/or closure of a company. Thomas regularly represents his clients in legal proceedings and is a member of the Antwerp Bar.

Filip Van Acoleyen is a member of Deloitte Legal’s Corporate and M&A team and is also linked to the Legal Managed Services team. Filip heads the Legal Entity Management (LEM) offering and is responsible as such for the delivery and development of the LEM offering for which he provides support to companies on corporate law, corporate practice and compliance matters. Filip has a general focus on legal technology innovation and is the product owner of the LEM tool myInsight Entity Management.
