Q&A series

03 October 2024

Q: What are you most looking forward to in the coming months?

I am most excited about expanding my strategic role and making a bigger impact on the legal team and the clients we serve. I'm also excited about the opportunity to develop and implement innovative legal strategies that can truly make a difference.

Q: What are the main challenges you see?

The continuously changing legal and regulatory landscape will definitely be a challenge. Another challenge is building my personal brand, establishing a reputation that resonates not only within Deloitte but also across the legal community. It's crucial to stay ahead of the curve, remain adaptable, and build strong networks to ensure sustained relevance.

Q: What are your key focus areas?

My key focus area is advising private clients, especially in managing complex legal family matters that require tailored solutions. Providing guidance in areas such as divorce and separation cases and all related issues such as conflicts regarding custody and alimony issues, the liquidation of assets after divorce or separation, as well as inheritances quarrels. Amicable settlement and court proceedings are critical to resolve these conflicts.I aim to offer proactive legal strategies that help clients achieve long-term solutions.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for lawyers wanting to advance their knowledge?

Continuous learning is vital in the legal profession. I would recommend staying up to date with both legal developments and broader industry trends. Having a mentor is also invaluable, as it can provide guidance on career development and skill-building opportunities. Actively seek out best practices.

Q: If there is one misconception you could clear up about your areas of expertise, what would it be?

One misconception I would like to clear up about my areas of expertise is that legal solutions are one-size-fits-all. In reality, each client case is unique, and it's essential to tailor legal strategies accordingly.

Q:  If you look back at yourself when you started, what advice would you give yourself?

If I could look back at myself when I started, I would advise myself to embrace change and challenges. The legal profession can sometimes feel rigid, but flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges are what set you apart. I’d also advise myself to focus on relationship-building from the beginning—developing strong connections with both colleagues and clients is key to long-term success.
